Letters to the EditorHoliday Confusion
In past years there have been three public holidays not counting Saturday & Sunday. Xmas day, Boxiig Day , New-Years Day .This year we get one. Is this official? Is it only in NSW? did Labor Concil agree to this scrooge act for Xmas? If the Libs. had done it there would be blood in the streets. If you check Xmas 1993 & you will find that Monday 27/12/93 , Tuesday 28/12/93 & Monday 3/1/94, were public holidays in NSW & other states Ed's Reply This is an issue unions have raised with the State Government. Watch this space for developments.
